There’s something about Paris that relaxes me. It’s a very walkable city, shopping is great (if you can afford it), and it’s such an easy get away from NYC.
I don’t speak French, but any city where I can walk around chomping on a baguette… count me in! Here are some snaps from my weekend trip there. Info for all of the places visited are below.
I found thispocket wifi shop the first time I came to Paris. When you get to the buzzer, the sign says, “Look up!” Low and below, this guy is hanging out of the window to give you the door code. I will ALWAYS go to this location for a pocket wifi.
Unicorners is right down the block from the wifi place. You can really grab coffee from any cafe in Paris.
It just so happened to be a coworking space as well. Coffee, good. Vibe, excellent!
This was the second time I tried to go to Palais de Tokyo. At the time of the trip, it was closed because of construction. That didn’t stop us from hitting up the book store and a photo op in the empty lobby area.
A little touristing never hurt anyone. I feel like I go to Sacré-Cœurevery time I visit. Not a bad view once you get to the church.
If you have time and are looking for something to do, walk along the Seine! There are some nice spots to grab a drink or snack. You can listen to live music, or do what I do, just people watch! I don’t even know the people in the next photo, but I liked the photo.
I shoot with a Leica Q and experimented shooting black and white and night. It really captures the light sources and loved how these came out. I believe we were walking around Bastille.
